Taking some of the most difficult people into the Miller home just stopped of its own accord with the acquisition of Hillside House.

"When it was over it was just over" sometime after Kefa and Uganda Refugees.

Then Rose Marie signed up with Southern Home for Children, which she was paid for and fit in with what she'd been doing as a teacher.

This was like foster care for troubled children, something Rose Marie enjoyed.
